Tim Cassidy — President, Corporate Broker, and
Contractor of Cassidy & Associates Real Estate, Inc. — has
extensive San Diego real estate
sales experience and San
Diego property management experience. He has been selling, marketing,
and managing San Diego real estate — including homes, fine
home estates, apartment buildings, and commercial properties — since
1987.
Asset & Property Management
Tim is responsible for overseeing an extensive asset
and San Diego property
management portfolio. Clients know Tim’s San Diego real estate
expertise sells properties for the highest price possible, and fast.
They also trust Tim to be their San Diego property manager, managing
their asset during their holding period.
Commitment to Education
Tim is committed to education. He holds a Juris Doctor
law degree (J.D.) and a Bachelor's degree in Law. While attending law
school, Tim was a certified law clerk with the State Bar Association,
handling primarily real estate matters for a local law firm. While
attending UCSB, he interned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.
Certificates & Designations
Tim holds a number of certificates and designations,
including the ACCREDITED RESIDENTIAL MANAGER® (ARM®)
designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®).
His real estate investment and property management articles have been
published in a number of periodicals.
Commitment to Real Estate,
Law, & Property Management Education
Tim's commitment to San Diego real estate, law, and property
management education has been well recognized. He was voted "Outstanding
Instructor" at UCSD in San Diego, CA, where he has taught Real
Estate Law and Real Estate Principles since 1992. In addition, he serves
in an advisory capacity for the new Certificate in Real Estate program
at UCSD. For many years, Tim has taught undergraduate and graduate
courses in Business Law, Business Ethics, and Business Writing. He
also has taught Contracts to Realtors at the San Diego Association
of Realtors.
Commitment to the Community
Tim's commitment to the San Diego community is extensive.
He has received commendations from the Mayor, City Council Members,
and the County Board of Supervisors Members for his contributions as
previous Chair of the local Planning Board and the Founding President
of the local Chamber of Commerce. He currently sits on the San Diego
County Assessment Appeals Board, having been appointed by the San Diego
Board of Supervisors in 2000.
